IB asset creation failed for Serial controlled item

Hi,

I opened a SR for this issue. Post this issue here in case anyone has experiences.

I have an item set with 'Full Lifecycle' for IB tracking, and also serial controlled with 'Entry at sales order, transfer order or work order issue'.

When I create customer asset with OOTB UI, I got the attached error.

Any idea what setups need to corrected for this issue?
