Salary Basis Issue

edited Feb 17, 2021 4:57PM in Compensation 5 comments

Summary

Hourly Employee going from 2080 salary basis to 2184 salary basis

Content

Client's requirement...

Employee A has salary of 40$ hourly.  Working 40 hour weeks on 2080 work year

Employee A gets assignment change - goes to 48 hour work week, 2184 work year

I create config for 2 salary basis's and 2 positions with different work schedules.

My expectation is that when employee A goes through a position change with salary change -> New salary basis that his hourly rate stays the same but his annual income goes up, but the system recalculates the base pay.  Why?
