I have a requirement in which while running payroll process, system should check if there exist a leave application in the given payroll period..

If a leave application exists, I need to read the startDate and endDate of the leave application and calculate total number of days employee will be on vacation. For these number of days, I need to calculate housing allowance and pay to the employee through an element.

Appreciate if some expert can help me on this.
