What is the best approach to editing an offer letter template?

We have developed job offer RTF templates and have them uploaded in Recruiting Content Library for user to select. There are certain scenarios where we require to edit the job offer generated templates. Constantly having to reload different variations is time consuming. Is there a faster approach to making quick template edits? The process in Taleo was efficient at doing this... not sure if there is something similar in ORC.
