Gender update not working - not restricted field
Summary
New employee did not fill in gender field (oversight) and we fixed it and see the fix, but on our benefits data transfer, it is rejecting as not seeing genderContent
Per the summary, not sure why our fix to select the employee gender as female seems to have taken on the employee info field. But our benefits transfer to carrier is getting rejected as it says it does NOT see a gender for that employee.
We have heard mixed views on whether to make gender a mandatory field by employee to avoid this issue...would welcome experience and views
