Birth, Marriage and Divorce life events allows previously not enrolled eligible contacts

When an employee has a qualifying life event, system allows all the eligible contacts to be enrolled where as we only want the newly added eligible contact to be enrolled. Can this be achieved (hopefully via configuration)?
