How to bulk upload Job Applications to a filled requisition?

We need to upload historical data in ORC. While trying to upload Job Applications to Requisitions (in Filled status), returns error stating that we can't upload Application as the requisition is not posted. Do we have any existing procedure through which we can upload historical job Application to a filled Requisition?
