Hello, 

Our customer is in the business of manufacturing complex hi-tech equipment - Like warehouse automation and mail sortation equipment. They own both CPQ /Sales) cloud and ERP cloud and plan to use CPQ for quotes. Here's the business scenario - 

Sales person gets a requirement from an end customer for an equipment with specific configuration. They create a quote, get it approved and send it to order manager to convert it into a sales order. A work order gets created to build the specific configuration which is eventually shipped to the customer in ERP. It is very common for the end customers to request a change in the configuration options until the last minute when the equipment is ready to be shipped.
