Personal Payment Method Not Reflected - Multiple Work Relationships

Issue: Personal Payment Methods are not transferred when a second work relationship is created. When select EE second work relationship and view payment methods it states "No personal payment method found. The default payment method will be used until a payment method is entered." 

Is there a way to select default based on EE personal payment method of primary assignment? Or is expectation Admin or EE manually add payment method, however that would be cumbersome to the organization.
