Aligning Global Totals with Entity Values

How to align global totals with columns in a tabular entity container

Hello,

I often need to show instances of an entity in tabular fashion with numbers that are summed at the bottom for totals at the global level.  But I cannot get the labels or input controls for the global totals to line up properly under the columns. How is this done?  I've attached a screen shot showing what I'm encountering. In addition, I would like to right justify the word Total in the label rather than add another label to push it over.
