Encryption Approach for outbound interfaces

Hi Team,

We have couple of outbound interfaces from HCM cloud to third parties. And we want to encrypt the output files. We are evaluating the below options:

1. Create a BIP report and deliver it to SFTP folder directly.

2. Use OIC to call the BIP report and then encrypt the file in OIC and then deliver to SFTP.

Any pointers on what approach will be the best one? Will it be better to encrypt the file in Fusion rather than OIC or the other way around?
