Windows Instance will not accept Initial Password
Summary
Windows Instance will not accept a manually entered Initial Password but seems to accept it when pasted into the Remote Desktop Connection credentials dialogue.Content
See attached document for a workaround with screen shots. In short, the OCI Console display of the Initial Password (Show control) is in a font that aliases (disguises) characters like 1, l (lower-case el), L (Capital L), I (Capital Eye), O (Capital Oh), and 0 (Zero). Using the Copy control is only partially helpful because you are completely dependent upon the environment you paste into. Even Notepad allows you to change the default font, so you can still end up with aliased characters. If you suspect this is happening, try highlighting the Initial Password and changing the font to something
