Hi,

Can anyone please explain me the different status used as a part of State Withholding Tax Summary in US Payroll.

Subject: wages will be included in the subject gross but not in the adjusted current gross

Taxable: wages will be included in the subject gross but in the adjusted current gross

Exempt: wages will not be included in the subject gross nor adjusted current gross
