Employee ability to search for a Journey

For Journeys, is there an ability for an employee to search for a Journey that has not been assigned to the employee?  There was mention of an employee searching for a Journey in the Oracle Work Made Human Summit today.  I have only seen the ability for employees to have journeys assigned based on actions or events or manually through the old allocate checklist action.  Am I missing something in understanding the setup for this functionality?
