Service Request Management Vs Case Management

Hello All,
Actually, I am a little bit confused about the difference between these 2 features (Service Request & Case) in service module.
I understand that the service request is the main entity to be used in the service module but when to use the case management ? is there any standard scenario that I should use case management for it ? Also, what are the business cases that I may use both of them together ?
