Debug HCM Extract - Extract Rule Type Attribute (Fast Formula - Without DBI)

Hello, the use of pending workers requires us to update to an existing HCM Assignment Extract. Currently we use the DBI PER_PERSON_ENTERPRISE_HIRE_DATE. However this field returns the wrong date for the pending workers. There is no DBI available that has the correct date. I started down the path of creating a Fast Formula, that uses GET_VALUE_SET to grab the correct date from the database. I have everything set up however when I run the extract its returning all null values for updated field we have labeled as EnterpriseHireDate. I don't understand how I can debug this issue to figure out where the underlying problem
