Hiring Manager Role Delegation?

Has anyone been able to make hiring manager role delegation to work? We are leveraging role delegations for line manager role and it works fine and as expected but when it comes to delegating hiring manager role, the delegated person does not get to view their requisitions.
For example Jack is the manager and delegates his line manager and hiring manager role to Joe. The expectation is that Joe should be able to view the requisitions that Jack was working on or is marked in the hiring team. I know a workaround will be to add Joe as a collaborator but that seems to defeat the purpose of role delegation.
