Summary

Fill Missing Method Parameter

Content

When setting up a new forecasting profile in Replenishment or Demand Planning , how does the parameter values of Fill Missing Method dictate the forecast generation.  As per the documentation

Parameter Description

FillMissingMethod

Specifies how to fill any undefined historical values. Parameter values may be 0, 1, 2. 0 for no missing values field. 1 for linear interpolation based on not missing neighbors. 2 for omitting missing values.

(Ref : https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/supply-chain-management/20b/fasdm/statistical-forecasts.html#FASDM2331508)

while from the description it can be inferred that for 1 interpolation is done for missing shipping history , its not clear whats the difference when 0 or 2 are chosen.

Howdy, Stranger!
