Onboarding tasks why are not displayed by the sequence order?

Hello ,
In onboarding, we have tasks with a specific order. I put the order using the sequence field in the task (see attached file). However ,when the tasks are allocated the display order isn’t as I defined in the order. For example, the task in sequence 2 is displayed first.

what could be the reason? how is the sequence working ?
