As life begins to “return to normal” in the UK, the Pensions Regulator (TPR) [www.tpr.gov.uk] are reminding employers that although these are uncertain times and businesses may have changed since COVID-19, their duties re Pension Automatic Enrolment (PAE) have not.

  1. Enrolment 
    1. Under UK law, all employers have to automatically enrol their eligible employees into a workplace pension scheme unless the employee chooses to opt out.  
    2. Employees should be assessed correctly, enrolled into a workplace pension scheme if eligible, and the correct contributions paid on time, on their behalf.
