Performance rating for 9-box Talent Review meeting

To support a 9-Box talent conversation a Performance rating and a Potential Rating are required. I need to have a different Performance Rating scale under Talent Ratings (a High/Medium/Low)  to what is used for an individual's performance review (which is a Met/Not Met). Is there a way that I can create a unique Performance Rating model for use under an individual's Talent Rating only and not have it connected to the individual's annual performance rating? I have this set up correctly in my Talent Review meeting template but would like this to also be the case under Talent Rating
