Summary

Sourcing Split allocations

Content

Hi ,

As per below Oracle documentation , I found two different logics to determine the supplier for planned order allocation in case of dual sourcing

Ex: if an item has Source rule for Supplier A 60% and Supplier B 40% with Rank1 with item modifier of Qty of 50

Day 1 : Demand of 100 qty then Planned order will be created for Supplier A alone with qty 100(per modifier)?

Day 2 : Demand of 100 qty then Planned order will be created for Supplier B  with qty 50 and Supplier A  with qty 50?

Day 3 : Demand of 100 qty then again Planned order will be created for Supplier B  with qty 50 and Supplier A  with qty 50?

Howdy, Stranger!
