Record of adjustment period in GL_DAILY_BALANACES

Hi, I am using ADB feature in GL.

 I post a journal to adjustment period, I can not see the record in GL_DAILY_BALANCES table. And I can see nomal period journal in the table. 

Is this by design? or bug?
