Onboarding - Send the task reminder to a 3rd party

For the task reminder assignees in Onboarding, there are only two options, Owner and Assignees. I'm wondering if there is anyway to send it to a 3rd party. I'm kind of think I can't but just want to confirm with peers before submitting an idea. How do you think? Thank you!
