Populate Promised ship date based on Scheduled ship date

Need to populate Promised ship date based on Scheduled ship date + X no of days depending on the customer or warehouse. Business need this to add the warehouse lead time to prepare the shipment once the SSD is populated.

The pre transformation defaulting rules are not working based on the SSD+3 days as an example, Is there any option to achieve this through Groovy scripts or Post transformation rules?
