Iterative Processing, Processing Priority and Taxes

Content

Hello all,

We are looking for inputs on handling pretax, tax, post tax, involuntary deductions where processing priorities overlap. We are unable to get everything to work and wondering how other clients are handling this.

Scenario: EE has insufficient earnings but has pretax benefits, post tax, tax and involuntary deductions to be withheld.

Pretax- Pension, health/dental benefits, 401k/457 contribution
Post Tax- health/dental Benefits, 401/457 contribution, other deductions
Involuntary- Child Support, Spousal etc..

We would want to process these in the below order

1 - Pretax Pension
2 - Pretax Health/Dental
3 - Taxes

Howdy, Stranger!
