What is the best way to identify whether the current Fusion instance is PROD or Non-PROD

As we need to transfer BIP Reports to different FTP file servers for different Fusion instances (PROD should send to server A, and non-PROD should send to Server thru bursting, what is the best approach to identify whether the current instance is PROD or non-PROD in the bursting query.  OR is there any other best practice?
