How to lock a new entity added to a hierarchy

Hello All,

I would like to know if there is a simple way to lock a new entity added to a hierarchy where all entities are previously locked in all periods until current.

Before the June Closing, I added to a hierarchy some new entities where all entities are locked. These new entities have status "no data". Unfortunatly an user has impacted one of these new entity in a previously period, May. So, this new entity became "impacted" in May and the parent entity at the top of hierarchy, too. During June closing I had an issue because FCCS asked to consolidate and translate previous period, May.
