What is the best practice for Sales Cloud and Eloqua Lead Sync?

Hey All,

Just to give you a background. We have Eloqua and Sales cloud tool that we are implementing for a client. 

Contact is created in Eloqua via landing pages/forms and that is going to flow to Sales cloud as a Lead and a Contact via OOTB Sales Cloud App

Now, there could be multiple leads for one contact in sales cloud. Oracle recommends we sync back all leads object in sales cloud to Contact object in Eloqua( Doc: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/sales/21c/fainm/overview-of-the-integration.html#FAINM3579544)

What is the best practice if there are multiple leads in Sales cloud for a single contact. How does various fields get updated? How to sync multiple leads in sales cloud to a single contact in eloqua ? Won't each lead overwrite Contact with its information?
