How to configure auxiliary dimension for opportunity custom field for territory assignment

Hi All,

Can anyone help me with steps or special configuration steps required to setup opportunity object custom field as auxiliary dimension. i was following oracle videos and docs but account custom field is taken as example in all of those, where my setup is not working. can someone help me with steps or doc.
