Inconsistent behavior in verification service for phone and email


We have been testing the recently launched phone and email verification service and are seeing very inconsistent behavior after turning on in our lower environments.

  • Email and phone on record create
    • Valid email - Does not show valid or invalid or option to validate
    • Invalid email - Shows as invalid
    • Partially valid email - This often comes up with corporate email addresses where it is recognized as partially valid. My work email is a good example. It shows partially valid even though is valid.
    • Valid phone - Does not show valid or invalid or option to validate.
