Auto populate FLine EFF once Shipped

Is it possible to autopopulate a Fulfillment Line EFF once the status has been updated to Shipped?

Use Case: We setup a 'Warranty Date' EFF on the Fulfillment Line Level. This date reflects the day that material was shipped + the warranty duration, which we're capturing in days in an item DFF. The business only has ship only orders so once the material is shipped, the fulfillment line will get closed, therefore we cannot update it manually. The goal was to try to auto update the Warranty Date EFF via some transformation rules but extensions, Post TRs and Pre TRs only run before Order Fulfillment.
