When I have to update someone's general profile (wrong email, address, etc....), and the colleges / jobs are not listed, it will not let me move forward or save until these fields get corrected.    Honestly, these jobs listed within Taleo are not normal jobs and the Universities listed are not normal schools.  So, I end up having to delete the records which I shouldn't have to.  

How do I make these fields NOT mandatory?   (With no asterisks on the fields).  Otherwise they should accept what is written in there or at least expand the fields choices to include more normal jobs, colleges and schools.
