Saving a journal without selecting Post, is posting during nightly post schedule

Hello:

Sometimes we would like to enter an Journal, but for one reason or another are not ready to post it (maybe we waiting an new acct to be added and intend to change the distribution), but during the nightly scheduled posting process, the journal posts or sends for approval anyway.  Is there any way around this besides removing the autopost schedule?
