Entering a Spend Authorization vs an Expense Report as a Delegate

Delegate and Workflow

Login as a Manager, setup an employee as a delegate

Complete the following as the delegate on behalf of the Manager

Expense Report

  • Create Expense Report as delegate
  • Workflow goes to the owner (Manager) and then the other approvers

 

Spend Authorization

  • Create Spend Authorization as delegate
  • Workflow does not go to owner first for approval, it skips to the other approvers
  • The owner (Manager) isn’t notified until the approval workflow is complete
