Just looking for some information as to what the "Manage External Payroll Data: ADP" feature is for in HCM

After the 21C Update, we have an item labeled "Manage External Payroll Data:  ADP".  Was just wondering what the feature is for?  From the sounds of it, it makes me think it has something to do with passing of payroll data over to a third party for them to process your payroll.  I was looking in the release notes but couldn't quite make out what they were explaining.  Thx.
