Load Planned Orders into a Supply Plan

We have a business case where we have to load a future plant production supply into the Plan.We are planning to load the same in the form of Make Planned Orders.Any thoughts about this approach?

We are planning to load the same in the form of Make Planned Orders.The FBDI template to load Planned Orders is valid only for GOP work area.There is an option to load using REST API.Wanted to check weather anybody has done the same?
