NR Datasource Creation with EPBCS (Traditional Account vs OCI Gen 2)

Hello All,

 

Please note that there seems to be a difference in the definition for creating a datasource in the narrative reporting with EPBCS (Traditional Account vs  OCI Gen 2). Specifically the Identity Domain field place an important role here though it is mentioned as non mandatory field. This was encountered when we were trying to create a datasource in one of the new narrative reporting instances which are based on OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Gen 2.

EPBCS Traditional Account as source:

- Connection Successful, only when you provide an appropriate identity domain.

- Fails, when the field is empty, though it is non mandatory
