Item Cost without Oracle Cost Management

Dear Experts,

One of the Customers we work for is moving from Oracle EBS to Fusion. They do not want to use Oracle Cost Management in Fusion. In that case:

1. how cost will be derived for the Items during Inventory Transactions? I believe all Item Costs will be 0

2. What are all the impacts you foresee at an Enterprise level?

3. How will it impact the ledger?

4. Are there any alternatives of maintaining Item Cost without Cost Management? Please suggest.

Also, Customers are using Self-Service Procurement (SSP). In that case, from where will the Item Price be picked up?
