Is it possible to make journal line description mandatory?  

This oracle note suggests that it's not possible, but I would like to confirm is this is still true or there is workaround

How Can We Make The Journal Description To Be required Permanent Query Field In The Manage Journal UI ? (Doc ID 2063578.1)

Note from Solution Section...'Note:Regarding making the Journal Description "required" will not be possible , because Journal development has not allowed access to properties for Journal Description or for that matter any other Search field on the search UI'
