Salary which has been copy and pasted in is not processed in the Payroll Run
We have had a number of occurances where a salary is not being processed for a new hire in a payroll run.
The salary was copy and pasted into the Change Salary page as of the hire date. Removing the salary and manually entering it seems to resolve the issue and is picked up in the payroll run.
My question is, are there any formats which salaries should not be copied from, and if so why? It's obviously important for the Onboarding team to ensure the correct salary so use the safety net of copy and pasting, but we need to know why this keeps happening
