Is there a way to trigger recurring Journeys/checklists?

Summary:

Use Journey/Checklist functionality to trigger recurring task for internal candidates

Content (required):

The customer wants to create some sort of recurring campaigns whereby they invite employees to update their job preferences through the Job Alerts section in Current Jobs.

I have created an external link type task containing the deeplink for the said section. 

To make the requirement feasible I need to create an automatic recurrence (e.g. every 6 months) of this checklist. 

Would it be possible to realize this use case?
