OTBI: "Performance Task": How to get 1 value per employee on report?

Summary:

All Performance Tasks show as "Ready" unless the task has been started, then it gets a second value of "In Progress". I would like my OTBI report to only have one value per employee. It can show as "Ready" for everyone, but, if the task has truly been started, I would like "Ready" to be removed and "In-Progress" to be in it's place. Is there any way of accomplishing this?
