Different Promotion Dates for Employees in the same Workforce Plan ?

We need to check the feasibility if we can have different Promotion Dates for Employees in the same Plan?

Content (required):

Our client wants to have an option where they have a different effective date for the promotions for Employees other than the regular Promotion date shown in the 'Transfer Process'? Is it possible to add an extra date column for 'Promotion Effective Date' and use them?

Just want to check the feasibility of those?
