When customer short pay, my customer will create Claim Investigation to record the deduction and do the investigation. Usually payment will have multiple related invoices and deduction items, but among the payment, deduction items have no relation with invoices. Since there are a lot deductions occurring, my customer want to automate the process, i.e. create Claim Investigation in batch through API or spreadsheet. However there is no API or Spreadsheet interface for Claim Investigation by 21C.

There do have a API for Channel Revenue Claim new in 21C, but Channel Revenue Claim is for deduction detailed to one invoice. In my customer’s scenario, their customer only tell them current payment is for which invoices and which deduction items, but deduection items don’t linked to invoices. So my customer want to use Claim Investigation feature, which is not invoice related, instead of Channel Revenue Claim.
