Prevent setting compensation amount below defined minimum

Summary:

We would like to prevent from managers to set compensation amount below minimum threshold

Content (required):

We tried to set value in field "Compensation Amount - Minimum" for relevant component but when exceeded the minimum amount it only shows an alert in alerts column and only only on save there is an error message says that there is an error alert with one of employee. It is not very intuitive and user friendly.

I'm hope there is better solution like popup alert right after the amount was set and it exceeds the limit
