Can one add a field to the UI via Page Composer that queries and displays a value from another table

Can one add a field to the UI via Page Composer and have that field query and displays a value from another table?

My client wants to add DFFs to the Asset table and have that DFF value (or some derivation of it) display on the work order header.

For example, they want to add a DFF warranty expiration date to the asset table. When a work order is issued for that asset they would like the maintenance technician to know that the asset is under warranty. (Maintenance technicians will carry smart tablets that can display the Oracle UI.) By knowing that the asset is under warranty the technician will return the replaced part to the service desk so it can be returned to the vendor for a refund. Otherwise the technician discards the replaced part in the trash.
