How do you have users, you create the profile for, access their account?

Content (required):

We are using API to create users in Taleo. We want to trigger an email for them to login. The first suggestion was to get the Welcome type email and click Forgot your password. But this takes 6 steps to accomplish. We are now guided to triggering and turn on Unsolicited Capture Resume Acknowledgement, New Candidate. We have not tested this yet.
