Compensation is trying to set up a process for retention bonus. They want to explore the option of moving the retention process from emails and paper documents.


The ideal situation would be for managers or HR to be able to initiate a retention request and have that request go through the proper approval chain. Once the request has been approved, the system would have the electronic documents that the necessary parties could sign electronically and when it’s time to pay the retention, then it would have the electronic waiver that would be signed by the appropriate parties and then the bonus amounts would be sent to payroll for processing.
