Sales stage history report - count if revert to a single sales stage twice

I am trying to create a report showing the number of opportunities that have been reverted in one specific sales stage multiple times.

For example I have 5 sales stages in an opportunity, and I want to count the # of opportunities in a month that have been reverted in a particular sales stage "lets say Sales Stage 3" multiple times.

I am using "Sales - CRM Opportunity Sales Stage Snapshot" subject area and created a report with the # of opportunities in each sales stage but unable to achieve above mentioned requirement.
